The following groups organize, train, and facilitate the many ministries and activities that carry out our parish mission.
The Finance Council advises the pastor in the areas of administration, finances, and personnel. This Council consists of two parish corporate directors, fourteen other parishioners, and the pastor.
The Pastoral Council's responsibility is to be a visionary body for the parishes. To foster pastoral activity of the parish including: Prayer & Worship, Evangelization, Fostering Community, Spiritual Enrichment & Growth, Social Justice & Service...The Educational Ministry of the Church.
The Women's Club (Carroll) and the Ladies' Guild's (Coon Rapids, Dedham and Glidden) consist of adult women in the parish who oversee specific events in the respective church sites, and help to fund sacristy/liturgy expenses and other projects.
The Men’s Clubs (Carroll and Coon Rapids) consist of adult men in the parish who oversee specific events in the respective church sites, and help to fund various projects in the parish.
The Flowers & Shrubs Committee are volunteers who install and care for parish flowerbeds. This committee meets in April and schedules volunteers for the spring, summer, and fall months.
The Newcomer Welcome Committee visits new parishioners to deliver information about St. John Paul II Parish to answer questions, and to encourage participation in parish life.
The Perpetual Adoration Chapel is located in Holy Spirit Church. This chapel is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Parishioners may sign up for one or more regular times of prayer and/or stop for a visit anytime.
